Chat history is persisted as a JSON file in the app's Documents directory. It's sandboxed by iOS — no other app can read it, and it never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

Nothing touches iCloud, Google, or any server
There is no iCloud sync, no backup to any cloud provider, and no server-side storage. If you switch devices, your history doesn't follow — because it was never uploaded anywhere.
DELETE ANYTIME
One tap to erase everything permanently
Deleting a conversation or clearing all history removes the data from your device immediately. There is no recycle bin, no 30-day retention, and no server-side copy to worry about. Delete means gone.

No accounts means no data recovery — by design
Because there are no accounts and no server storage, there is no 'forgot password' flow, no data recovery, and no way for us to access your history. This is a feature, not a limitation.
